The drawn cup outer steel shell provides a small cross-section for use in restricted spaces, and serves as a raceway for the rollers. The clutch has a glass fiber reinforced polyamide nylon cage with a stainless steel pressure spring for each roller, allowing continuous operation up to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). The rollers are made of through-hardened, high-carbon chromium steel for heat tolerance and durability, and the clutch comes packed with grease. This drawn cup roller clutch is used in various industrial applications.
